My place on the day of your birthday. And since the canteen doesn't serve the best food on that day, we'll have a food celebration the following Thursday, under that tree we sat the other day.

[ So she gets two birthday celebrations with Bellamy. It's probably excessive, but it shows how much he likes her. He's never cared about someone's birthday this much. Only Octavia's. ]

If I somehow make you say "wow, this birthday sucked a lot less than I thought it would" by being here, I'll feel accomplished.

[ He hasn't even done anything yet and she already feels like saying that. (And honestly, even being here, it'll probably be better than her eighteenth.) ]

Careful, Bellamy; you're at serious risk of spoiling me here.

[ And not in the way he usually does, although she'd be an idiot to not expect that as well. Not that she's expecting much of anything other than an evening with him on the actual day. ]

I'm glad we agree on that, because I really don't want to do either of those. Some other time, maybe, but birthdays are for indulging in junk food and fun activities, not exercise.

I still have your underwear from the Dive by the way. I washed the pants I was wearing with them in so they're clean now. But I can keep them at my place as a spare pair for you.

[ She'd return the one she's got if he really needed or wanted it back, but it might need to be washed before she does because it currently smells like her since she uses it to sleep in most nights. ]

If you keep coming over without any, you're gonna need your own underwear drawer.

I actually forgot about that shirt. You could have got away without mentioning it... That's fine though, what's mine is yours. Maybe send me a picture in it sometime so I don't miss it too much.

[ He'd tell her to wear it to bed with him but he likes her naked more. They get far too hot for clothes. ]

[ It makes a lot of logical sense, considering how much time she spends with him (and she'd, of course, do the same for him because if they're not at his place, they're at her's) but it also feels big. In a way that makes her smile and feel a little giddy, but big nonetheless. ]

I can do that. Or I could just wear it next time you're over and you could take the picture instead. You could probably get a better angle; I'd have to use a mirror to get a full-body shot in it. And it's only fair that I pose for you for once.

That sounds totally doable. I might take a couple of you, too. I know I have my sketches, but they're not as easily portable.

What is it about my runes that you like so much, though? Other than the obvious, like the placement of some of them. Not that I'm complaining or anything, I'm just curious because you've always been fond of them.

I guess when I first saw them, I liked the sense of mystery about them. I didn't know if the symbols represented anything or if they were abstract. I wanted to get to know you so I could find out.

Now I know what they can do? I'm attracted to how powerful they make you. They make you like the deities I read stories about as a kid.

No pressure there... [ Being compared to deities, she means, but it's just a joke. Mostly. She doesn't actually think he's putting her on that sort of level. ]

But I'm glad you like them, even now. It means a lot to be able to share that side of me with you.

It meant a lot that you trusted me to help you trace one. As nervous as I was to do it, I'd do it all over again.
